Last remaining tickets sold for Glastonbury Festival tickets sold out for yesterday

Monday 6th April 2009

The final few thousand tickets to this year’s Glastonbury Festival were all sold yesterday after they went back on sale at 9am and they all sold out with in hours of going on sale!

Glastonbury is a festival of Contemporary Performing Arts run by a Somerset farmer called Michael Eavis, Glastonbury Festival is held at Worthy Farm in Pilton near Glastonbury in Somerset and the famer has been doing this nearly every year since 1970! The mother of all festivals is run by a farmer!

Glastonbury festival usually takes place on the last full weekend of June, Glastonbury has taken a year of now and again to let the land that its on recover and the people of Pilton recover. Glastonbury had massive problems with massive numbers and security, but now since then many improvements have been made and any problems they ahs in the past have been largly reduced or completly eliminated!
