Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2009

Radio 1’s Big Weekend is coming to  Lydiard Park, Swindon on the 9th and 10th May 2009.

Tickets for Radio 1’s Big Weekend are free, you you can register on the official website from Tuesday 14th April 2009. What you have to do is register on Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2009 website  for you chance of a ticket. Last year about 500,000 sign up for a chance of a ticket and it is expected to be just as busy this year, not everyone will win a ticket though, as there is only 40,000 to give away.

Radio 1’s Big Weekend is held in different places every year, last year they were in Maidstone last year, and Preston, Dundee and Sunderland before that.If you listen to Radio 1 there will be updates on there and there will be updates on here on how to register and the full line-up announcement.

The Prodigy has just been added to the line-up for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Swindon and will headline the festival on Sunday 10th May 2009.
