Stars turn out for the UK premiere of Invictus
Walk of Fame star for Roy Orbison

The late rock’n'roll legend Roy Orbison has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Orbison’s widow Barbara accepted the star on his behalf on Friday at a ceremony attended by Eric Idle, Chris Isaak and Dan Ackroyd.
Orbison died of a heart attack in 1988, aged 52. His hits include Only the Lonely, Oh, Pretty Woman and Crying.
In later life, he joined The Traveling Wilburys - their greatest hits album was number one in the UK in 2007.
The band formed in 1988 and produced two albums.
Ackroyd paid tribute to Orbison, describing him as a great balladeer and rock’n'roller.
Chart success
Orbison was born in Texas in 1936.
After many years of playing with various bands he scored his first international hit with Only The Lonely in 1960.
The ballad went to number one in Britain, staying in the charts for over six months.
A succession of hits followed including his biggest seller Oh, Pretty Woman, which sold around seven million copies in 1964 alone.
His life was hit by tragedy in 1966, when his first wife Claudette was killed in a motorcycle accident. Two years later, two of their three sons died when his house burned down.
He was remarried to Barbara in 1969 and had two more sons, Alex and Roy. </p

Beckham lands US chat show role

Victoria Beckham is to appear as a guest presenter on popular US daytime show The View.
The former Spice Girl will join actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd and broadcaster Barbara Walters on 17 February.
Beckham, 35, appeared as a guest on the live show in September.
The singer-turned fashion designer’s recent guest slot on the judging panel of American Idol was largely panned by US television critics.
Awards ceremony
A spokesman for Beckham said she was excited about hosting the show next month.
"She had a lot of fun last time she was on the show, it’s a real ‘girlie’ environment, the hosts are all strong, intelligent women who she respects and admires, and she is looking forward to returning to the show in a few weeks," he said.
On The View website, Beckham is described as "a fashion icon, a former Spice Girl… she’s all-around fabulous".
Courtney Cox wore a dress designed by Beckham at the Golden Globe awards earlier this month. </p

Blues star Etta James in hospital

Blues legend Etta James is being treated in hospital in California after suffering from various ailments, including a blood infection.
"She’s been in a pretty big battle," her son Donto James told Reuters. The singer has been in hospital for a week.
Mr James said his mother, 72, became ill while in a detoxification clinic for treatment to an addiction to painkillers and other medicines.
The R&B star is probably best known for 1961 ballad, At Last.
Beyonce sang the track at President Barack Obama’s inaugural ball last year.
Hall of fame
James is being treated for a number of problems including the blood infection sepsis, believed to have started with a urinary tract infection, her son said.
Mr James said his mother was also suffering from speech difficulties, the cause of which is still being investigated.
He said doctors at the Riverside hospital were hoping to discharge his mother "very soon" and she would be moved to a nursing home for follow-up care.
Discovered by legendary band leader Johnny Otis, James’s career has spanned five decades.
The singer developed a heroin addiction in the 1960s that was to last for more than a decade, and saw her spend time in a psychiatric hospital.
After kicking her drug habit, she remained a popular concert performer - although further chart success largely eluded her.
She was inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, and won the first of three Grammy awards for 1994’s Mystery Lady: The Songs of Billie Holiday.
A year later, she scored a top 10 hit in the UK when her version of I Just Wanna Make Love To You was featured in an advertisement for Coca-Cola.
In 2007, the singer spent several weeks in hospital after suffering complications during abdominal surgery in Los Angeles. </p

Reid wins Celebrity Big Brother

Cage fighter Alex Reid is favourite to win the final series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Reid, who is best known for dating Katie Price, has over shadowed ex-footballer and Hollywood actor Vinnie Jones in the race for the title.
Bookmakers William Hill said singer Dane Bowers is second favourite to be crowned the winner.
Actress Stephanie Beacham and dance music star Jonas Altberg, also known as Basshunter, are also in the final.
This year’s series will be the last shown on Channel 4 although the regular Big Brother starring members of the public will air in the summer.
Millionaire socialite Ivana Trump, 60, was evicted from the house on Wednesday.
She said Jones’s bossy behaviour had "alienated" him from his fellow housemates.
Fans saw presenter Davina McCall enter the compound as a housemate for the first time in Big Brother’s history.
She entered the house in the same costume that glamour model Nicola Tappenden had been wearing before her surprise eviction.
However, housemates were not fooled and guessed it was McCall in costume.
The live final starts at 2030 GMT on Channel 4 on Friday. </p
