“CASSETRIO is a night for those who saw the transition from cassette tapes to compact discs. A night playing all the songs we listened to as kids, but weren’t old enough to go out and dance to. A night bringing back the best in 90s hip-hop, dance and alternative pop, and celebrating what was a golden era of music.

After two nights at Joshua Brooks, the party has shifted to the other end of town. The red-hot Ruby Lounge on High Street welcomes you on Wednesday 16th December for our Christmas party!

Choosing not to play the ‘cheese’ that all other 90s nights play, the 3 DJs offer up a diverse mix of all the real music on offer at the time. East/West Coast hip-hop, dance anthems galore and the best US and UK pop-rock that time hasn’t dismissed. Plenty of ‘Ohhhh! I remember this!’ moments assured.

Professional nightlife photographers will be there on the night to capture the merriment, which goes on until 2.30am. And with Christmas less than 10 days away, what better way to go out and celebrate beforehand with your friends or those dreaded work colleagues?
