Pendulum see sales rise after Glastonbury…

Pendulum saw their sales increase by well over 900% following their sunset performance at Glastonbury that was televised. Amazon have said that Pendulum sales were up by 909%, certanly the biggest rise for any artsist that performed at Glastonbury this year!
Other artists sales rocketed as well…
Franz Ferdinand by 470%
Passion Pit by 341%
Bloc Party by 295%
and Status Quo by 788%
Head of Music Buying at Amazon.co.uk, Julian Monaghan said…
“With vast amounts of TV, radio and press coverage, a big performance can generate huge rises in sales for the artists concerned – and this year is no different. Pendulum seem to have been growing in popularity over the past year, and this performance could mark the moment they become a truly mainstream act.”
