DJ Alan D has recently broken the world record for the longest DJ set, he played for his set for  total of 124 hours at Zicos Bar in Lanarkshire in Scotland. Record Breaking rules stipulated that he could take five minute breaks every hour, which Alan saved up into half hour breaks and had little power naps! Alan also said that a wet T-shirt Contest and a phone call from Mixmag helped keep him going for so long. Until now, the record has been held by a Cypriot DJ called Gee Papa, his record was 116 hours and has stood since 2006!
